Asbestos Management Reports
First the legal stuff...
"It is the duty of owners and occupiers of non-domestic premises who maintain and repair the building to assess and manage the risks from the presence of asbestos"
REGULATION 4, Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006
That said, let's keep it simple: We can offer a cost effective solution today!
The purpose of the Asbestos Management Survey is to locate, as is reasonably practicable the presence and extent of any asbestos containing materials in the premises which could be disturbed or damaged during the normal occupancy of the building and to assess their condition.
The survey can involve some minor intrusive work and a little disturbance which we will always keep to a minimum and is dependant on what is practicable for each individual building including accessibility, type of construction and style of building.

Should sampling confirm the presence of asbestos, the survey will include an assessment of their condition and their ability to release fibres should they be disturbed.
Recommendations on dealing with the asbestos will be covered within the report which can include warning labels, sealing and occasionally removal. Finally the implementation of an asbestos management plan ensuring compliance with current regulations.
Our Assessors are fully BOHS P402 qualified & experienced and are usually able to identify all visible signs of asbestos containing materials where required without a sample requirement; although sampling is always recommended for UKAS Accredited certified results. Our sample costs remain amongst the lowest in the UK.
